Anti-Lick, Washable, Non-Slip Fit for Callus/Wound Protection
Dog Elbow Support Braces give your dog cushioned elbow protection that actually stays put. This dog elbow support brace helps guard against licking and chewing while padding elbow calluses, hygromas, and post-surgery sites. A breathable, washable design and non-slip straps keep the sleeve comfortable for daily wear—at home, in the car, and on walks.
Anti-lick barrier: Limits access to wounds, stitches, hot spots and dressings to reduce irritation and infection risk.
Cushioning for pressure points: Soft padding helps protect and soften calluses/hygromas caused by hard floors or frequent lying.
Non-slip, adjustable fit: Wide hook-and-loop straps and a contoured sleeve help prevent rotation and sliding.
Breathable & washable: Airy, quick-dry materials for odor-free, everyday use.
Left or right forelimb: Universal design fits either elbow; order two for bilateral protection.
Cone alternative or companion: More comfortable than a cone for many dogs; pair with an e-collar for determined lickers.
Note: This is a protective sleeve/pad, not a rigid joint brace or immobilizer.
Dogs with elbow calluses or hygromas
Post-op elbow incisions or minor wounds (follow your vet’s plan)
Senior dogs or large breeds that rest on hard surfaces
Dogs prone to licking/chewing forelimb skin
Measure your dog for the best fit:
Upper arm circumference: Around the forelimb above the elbow (triceps area).
Lower arm circumference: Around the forelimb below the elbow (proximal forearm).
Coverage length: From mid-upper arm to mid-forearm over the elbow point.
Fit Tips
If between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
Straps should be snug, not tight—you should fit two fingers under each.
Smooth long hair beneath straps to prevent pinching.
Identify the affected elbow (left or right).
Open all straps; slide the sleeve on so the padded cup centers over the elbow point.
Fasten bottom to top, applying even tension.
Let your dog take a few steps; re-adjust if the brace rotates or slides.
Start with short sessions (20–40 min) and increase wear time as your dog adapts.
Close straps before washing.
Hand wash or machine wash cold (gentle); air dry fully.
Inspect skin daily for redness, moisture, or rubbing; clean as needed.
Replace if padding becomes compressed or the fabric is torn.
