Protects Wounds & Aids Recovery
Lispoo Dog Rear Leg Lick‑Guard Sleeve (Single) with Reflective Straps – Protects Wounds & Aids Recovery helps your dog heal comfortably while keeping nightly walks safer. This single rear‑leg sleeve creates a soft, breathable barrier that discourages licking, chewing, and scratching—so wounds, hot spots, and post‑surgery sites can recover without constant irritation. Adjustable reflective straps secure the sleeve in place and add low‑light visibility.
Product Features
Anti‑lick protection: Shields sutures, hot spots, rashes, and minor abrasions so they can heal undisturbed.
Single sleeve design: One unit fits either the left or right rear leg—order two if both legs need coverage.
Reflective, adjustable straps: Easy, secure fit with night‑safe visibility.
Comfort for everyday wear: Flexible, soft‑touch fabric lets dogs walk, sit, and rest naturally.
Breathable & washable: Suitable for daily use and simple cleaning.
Stays in place: Anti‑slip, multi‑point strapping helps reduce sliding and twisting during activity.
Cone alternative or companion: Use alone for mild cases or together with an e‑collar for determined lickers.
Licking keeps wounds moist and introduces bacteria that delay healing. By covering the area with a comfortable barrier and securing it with reflective straps, this sleeve reduces access to the wound while allowing airflow and natural movement, supporting faster, cleaner recovery.
For the best fit, measure before ordering and consult the size guide on this page.
Thigh/upper leg circumference: Measure the thickest part of the rear leg above the hock.
Lower leg circumference: Measure just below the hock (ankle).
Leg length to cover: From above the paw to just above the affected area.
Tips for a great fit
If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
A correct fit should be snug but not tight—use the “two‑finger” rule under each strap.
Long‑haired coats may require slightly looser strap tension.
Identify the affected rear leg (left or right).
Gently slide the sleeve up from the paw until it covers the target area.
Align straps so they fasten on the outside of the leg and reflective surfaces face outward.
Fasten the straps from bottom to top, checking that you can slide two fingers under each for circulation.
Let your dog walk a few steps; re‑adjust if you notice slipping or twisting.
Close straps before washing.
Hand wash or machine wash on gentle; cold water recommended.
Air dry completely before next use.
Inspect daily for dirt, moisture or hair buildup and clean as needed.
