At Lispoo, we understand that finding the right fit for a dog brace is not always easy. Every dog has a different body shape, leg size, weight, and mobility condition. Sometimes, even after careful measuring, a brace may not fit as expected.
But an unfit size does not have to become wasted product.
Recently, one of our customers joined Lispoo’s donation exchange program after realizing that the Lispoo Dog Knee Brace for Rear Hind Leg Support was not the right size for their dog. Instead of returning a gently unused brace, the customer chose to donate it to a local animal rescue, giving the product a second chance to help another dog in need.
The donation was made to Sean Casey Animal Rescue, a local rescue organization dedicated to helping animals through rescue, rehabilitation, and placement. The customer shared photos with us, showing the donated Lispoo knee brace being received by the shelter team.

For us, this moment meant more than a product exchange. It was a reminder that care can continue beyond the first purchase.
Turning a Size Issue Into a Meaningful Act
Dog braces are support products, and correct sizing is very important. A brace that does not fit one dog may still be helpful for another dog with the right body shape and support needs.
That is why Lispoo created the Free Exchange of Unfit Size After Donation program.
When a customer receives a brace that does not fit, they can contact us, donate the unfit size product to a dog shelter, send us donation photos, and request a size exchange. This helps reduce waste while allowing more dogs to benefit from mobility support products.
It is a simple idea:
If it does not fit your dog, it may still help another dog.
About the Donated Product
The donated product was the Lispoo Dog Knee Brace for Rear Hind Leg Support, designed to provide gentle support around the rear leg and knee area during daily movement.
This brace is made for dogs that may need extra stability due to rear leg weakness, limping, knee strain, ACL/CCL support needs, arthritis-related discomfort, or supervised post-operative recovery. It features adjustable Velcro straps, a wrap-around waist strap, flexible spring metal support strips, reflective details, and soft breathable fabric for more comfortable daily wear.
The brace is not a replacement for veterinary care, and we always recommend consulting a veterinarian for serious injuries, surgery recovery, or ongoing pain. But for many dogs, the right support product can be part of a thoughtful daily care routine.
Why Shelter Donations Matter
Animal shelters and rescue organizations care for dogs with many different backgrounds. Some dogs may be senior pets. Some may have been injured. Others may be waiting for adoption while needing extra comfort and support.
Mobility products like braces, lift harnesses, and recovery support items can be useful resources for shelters, especially when the right size matches the right dog.
By donating an unfit but usable product, customers are helping extend the life and value of that item. More importantly, they are helping dogs who may not have easy access to extra support products.
This is exactly the kind of impact Lispoo hopes to encourage.
Our Commitment
Lispoo was built around one belief: dogs deserve better support through every stage of life.
From knee braces and lift harnesses to mobility and rehabilitation products, our goal is to help pet parents care for dogs with more comfort, safety, and confidence.
We are grateful to the customer who chose donation instead of waste, and we are thankful to shelters like Sean Casey Animal Rescue for the work they do every day.
A wrong size became the right opportunity.
And for a shelter dog waiting for help, that can make a real difference.
